![]() Traveling with an infant is definitely no easy task, packing for one is almost even harder! I think I brought her whole wardrobe worrying I might not have enough clothes for her. I was so worried about everything I would need for her that I forgot my ID and didn't remember until we got to the airport and I about had a heart attack! Luckily my husband is a pro at weaving through traffic and got all the way to my house and back with 5 minutes to spare! Everything after that felt like smooth sailing! Cece was such a good little flyer too, I couldn't have wished for her to be any better. She slept as soon as we took off and barely woke up at all throughout the whole flight. Ive been told that its best to have her sucking on something when we take off so that her ears don't plug up, but I literally couldn't keep her awake or coherent enough to do that, haha! Luckily she was just fine and seemed content the whole time. :)
After we landed and got our car and settled into our Airbnb, we headed straight to the beach! The weather was absolutely perfect, and of course we had to stop off and get some snow cones. :0 Everything seems to taste better when you're sitting on the beach basking in the sun! We also found this cute little breakfast shack that we went to every morning and got their meat breakfast burrito with everything on it. If you're ever in the oceanside, CA area, you definitely need to try this! Its called Buccaneer Cafe, and its right on the beach so you can have a great view while chowing down. One of our absolute musts on this trip was our Vauva backpack! We literally took it everywhere with us! It was the perfect size to fit everything I needed for Cece, and I also had enough room for sunscreen, water, phone, and all my other knick knacky things I like to carry around with me. This backpack is technically a diaper bag, but Ashlyn still has baby Reign in the oven, and this backpack was still perfect for her too. She packed her sunscreen, water, towels, chapstick, sunglasses, you name it! We also carried around some hair supplies because our services were in high demand for braids on the beach! lol We grew up with 4 girls in the family so we're use to the hair trains. I think its pretty fair to say that we all had a blast on our Cali trip, and we cant wait for our next family trip with baby Reign!
