Who else is confused as to what season it is right now? One day its sunny and warm, literally feeling like summer, and the next its snowing! Now don't get me wrong, I love snow, but only for about 2 days out of the year when I want to go snowboarding and Christmas morning, lol. So needless to say, I am patiently waiting for summer to start.
Sarah follows this Instagram account @flightsfromhome and @scottscheapflights, which always posts the best flight deals from SLC and other states. Also, the app called "Hopper" is awesome too! So she saw a roundtrip flight to Maui for only $200 and booked it right away! I was feeling major FOMO, so I convinced my husband to let me go to (he can't because of work), so now we are going to Maui in a couple weeks!! I feel guilty leaving him behind, but I mean....Hawaii. So, yeah lol.
We started doing a #wearitsavvywednesday post, where we post an under $100 outfit every Wednesday. We have been trying to do it consistently. We have gotten great feedback on these types of posts so we hope you guys like it and can make your own great outfits for less :)
Who likes to shop for new clothes? "Me, me me!!"
It's easy to go shopping for a new outfit but it's also hard on your bank account. We can vouch that it is literally so much easier to get a new outfit than rummage through your own closet and put together a new one.
Well... we wanted to challenge ourselves to NOT buy new stuff and re-invent old clothes in to "new" ones. So we went through our closets and actually found a couple good ideas on how to trick your mind into thinking you have a new outfit! lol.
Sarah is wearing a brown "skirt" in the pictures below, but it is really a brown long sleeve shirt. She just tied the sleeves around her waist and "voila" a new skirt! I (Ashlyn) wore knee high sandals, but I made them more wintery by wearing tights underneath.
We want to challenge you to look through your closet next time you say you "have nothing to wear" and be creative with your clothes, you will be surprised what you can come up with!
1. Take old pumps and put some long socks over them to make it look like knee high boots
2. Turn your old pants into a new pair of shorts
3. Take a long sleeve shirt and make it into a skirt
4. Take a scarf and turn it into a poncho
5. Shirts that are too small: wear with an undershirt and add some length!

We used to share a room throughout our whole childhood. So every night was a sleepover for us! We loved always having each other around, but obviously when you have a sister, it comes with bumps in the road, like stealing clothes and using each others makeup without asking and "wrestling" matches (aka cat fights).
We used to hate matching clothes, but now we love to haha. We are loving these comfy jammies from Hello Mello Lounge Wear. They have really cute prints and are totally affordable! You can find ours here.
Now that we are married and have babes of our own, we don't get to have girls nights and sleepovers as much, but when we do, here are some fun things we like to do and other ideas you could use for your own girls night!
Girls night in our PJ's!
1. Put hot towels in a crockpot with some essential oils (peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus) and place on body, feet or face for amaaazing relaxation.
2. Make our fluff yogurt dessert recipe (everyone is obsessed with this dessert, and the best part, its healthy and low cal!)
One 16 oz tub of greek vanilla yogurt
1 pack instant vanilla pudding
8 oz cool whip
1 cup frozen raspberries
*Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate or serve immediately :)
3. Make our homemade replica "Chip Cookie" recipe (these are sooooo good and huge lol)
4. DIY face mask. We found some awesome ones with ingredients that you probably would have on hand at your house! Found on self.com and Pinterest.

I got Valentines Day is in just two days!! I remember when I was in 3rd grade and I asked my boy crush if he'd be my Valentine, and he totally dissed me. After that I am pretty sure I never had the courage to ask a boy to be my Valentine. Unless he was already my boyfriend! haha I seriously miss making those Valentine mail boxes we got ot make in elementary school though. I made an elephant in 4th grade and was sooo proud of it. That was seriously my favorite holiday during school. It was always so fun to pass out fun Valentine cards and getting secret admirers :)
I am still not sure if my husband has planned something for us or if we are just going to spend it with our Reign babe and chill for the night. But either way I loved this outfit when I saw it and am wearing it for V-day! This jumpsuit is so comfortable and great for V-day. It is only $27.90 and suuuper good quality. I am obssessed. I got these pom pom stilettos from Forever 21 yesterday for $9!! I'm not kidding. I also got two other pairs of sexy stiletto booties for $9 too. I feel like you find the best sale deals IN STORE so make sure to always check the clearance sections when you shop :) You never know what you'll find! You can pair it with a cute sexy stiletto, booty or pointy flat if you want to be a bit more comfortable.
I hope you ladies get spoiled by our man!! Or gents get spoiled by your lady ;) Have an amazing and sexy week!!
