Okay, real talk. I just taught myself to french braid FOR THE FIRST time yesterday. lol. I have always been afraid to learn because I have failed so many times trying. Then yesterday I was just messing around watching hair youtube tutorials, and this one girl just explained it so clearly that it finally made sense! I clearly still have some work to do, (that piece of hair I left out has been bugging me so bad) but practice makes perfect!
I have always loooved off the shoulder dresses, so I added a couple ones that I think are so cute for summer. The one I am wearing is from Target. I couldn't find it online, but I am sure you will be able to find it at the store.
Little pregnancy update- I am 26 weeks along now. My tummy has been growing slowly but surely! I get to feel her move consistently throughout the day which is so cool. It is the weirdest feeling at first, but then it just becomes normal and so fun. I feel like I am connecting with her when she moves around inside and I tend to miss her when I haven't felt her move for a while. Sometimes when I am just sitting on the couch or laying down, and feel her move and actually see her push my stomach up, it brings tears to my eyes, because that is MY child in there! I actually am making a human! This pregnancy has honestly been pretty easy! The first 12 weeks were rough, but the day I hit 12 weeks I felt like my normal self again. I am tired here and there, and get heart burn. But other than that, I have nothing to complain about :) I love being pregnant.
So you guys know I looove swimsuits. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able (more like not want to) wear them while I am pregnant, but I have found certain styles that are actually flattering and comfortable. This one I am wearing pictured above is great because it supports the girls (boobies) and the bottoms are tied on the side, so you can adjust however big or small you need. When shopping for swimsuits while pregnant, I have noticed that the most comfortable ones are the tie bottoms and for the tops I like halter, one pieces and tie tops. It's just nice to be able to adjust the swimsuit as your body is growing.
One pieces have definitely made a comeback in style. I used to haaaate them. Mostly because I could never find cute ones, and my parents wouldn't let me wear two pieces, so I automatically dreaded one pieces. But now they are soooo many cute styles. I tend to see myself leaning more towards one pieces now. I haven't worn any since I have been pregnant, but now living in Louisiana, I am going to have to protect the belly from the heat, so I will be whipping them out. I attached some cute ones below.
My most favorite websites to buy swimsuits from are Romwe & SheIn. Instead of paying $20-$50 for a seperate top & bottom, you will be paying $9-$20 for a WHOLE swimsuit. And the quality is great! I will never buy an expensive swimsuit again. I literally just bought 10 swimsuits for under $100. Can you believe that? One thing to keep in mind with Shein & Romwe, is that they run small. I usually wear a medium top & bottom. But I order larges even an XL while I have been pregnant. So just keep that in mind.
Some other cute sites I have seen that are cheap and have great inventory are OASAP and RoseGal.
Thanks for reading! Hope you guys have a fab Sunday :)

This past week has been soooo crazy. I had to pack my house up because my husband and I moved to New Orleans this Monday. Luckily we didn't have to pack everything up because we are Airbnb our house out, so we just had to move our personal stuff and things we don't want people using. Being six months pregnant and walking up the stairs 50 times a day and lugging heavy boxes, etc, kind of took a toll on me. I didn't realize until then that I really can't do everything I used to do before I was pregnant.
Sarah always tells me to not push myself and take it easy, and I would just say "It's fine!" but these past couple days have been catching up to me and I am exhausted! I used to NEVER be able to take naps during the day and even worse, I couldn't sleep at night because I suffer from a mild form of insomnia (inherited from my dad). So sleeping during the day is weird to me. I feel so lazy and that I should be doing stuff, but I realize that my body and most importantly my baby, needs the sleep. So this next 3 months I am going to take it easy and not push myself to much.
So my hubby, Drew and I, arrived to New Orleans on Monday. Our flight was at 6 am so we had to leave at 4 am for our flight. Which meant me waking up at 3:30 am because I am a worry wart and set a million alarms so I don't sleep in (even though I know I never would because I only sleep half asleep when we are about to travel) lol. I also can't sleep at all on planes so I got an equivalent of 3 hours of sleep that day lol. So we have just been settling in and getting our apartment ready here in New Orleans! The people here are soooo stinking nice! I've only been here 2 days but just people at the grocery store, restaurants and even on the road are so sweet. Even tonight we had a stranger pull up beside our car to tell us our lights weren't on (still trying to figure out our rental car haha). But they were super nice about it, not arrogant and mean. So I love it here already to say the least!
I was doing a little online shopping on one of my favorite websites- Shein, and couldn't help but buy a bunch of cute dresses for summer! It's so hard to find things you hope you won't look "big" in or are not flattering, so I tend to look for dresses that are flowy or pretty tight so you can see my bump. I loved this dress for multiple reasons. One being that I can totally wear it after I am pregnant! But I loved that it was longer, so I could wear it to church too or work/business meetins. It is sooo comfortable. I love that the fabric is stretchy and breathable so I don't feel like my skin is suffocating. I just slipped a pair of black pumps on and wa-la! Outfit done. I love pieces that stand on their own, and don't need a lot of styling to make it cute. AND you can't beat the price, $19! I am a sucker for good deals. You can find the dress here.
I think I am in desperate need of some sleep so good night! Hope you all had a great Easter!! Thanks for reading :)
