So we recently started working out at the Vasa gym (yay us) and discovered the sauna! We honestly thought it was a nice, hot torture chamber for people to sit in after their workout, but after our sister in law told us about her experience, we had to try it!
So after the gym, we make sure to bring face wash, to wash all of our makeup off before going into the sauna. You will sweat a lot, so the last thing you want is that makeup to get into your pores and cause you to break out. A good time to sit (or cook) in the sauna is 15-20 minutes. After you are done, go straight to the bathroom and wash your face with warm water. The warm water opens your pores and gets a deeper clean. After your wash, splash with super cold water. This will close your clean pores, and won't let any bacteria in.
OMG- after like 5 minutes you will FEEL the difference! Your skin will feel tight and SUPER smooooth. It is amazing!
Because we had such a great experience we went ahead and did some research on saunas and how beneficial they are to our health, skin, beauty, etc. We were kind of surprised at how many things they help with!
