Inexpensive Hair Dye Job

The last time I got my hair done was over 8 months ago. I used to religiously dye it every 6 weeks or so but it started feeling damaged so I wanted to give my hair a little break. As you guys know, we are always looking for ways to save money. And as you know, maintaining your hair gets EXPENSIVE. Many places charge 70+ for just a partial weave. Our cousin has straight brown hair, no highlights or anything, and she pays $180 dollars for just a root touch up!
I have personally dyed my own hair for the past 10 years. I would normally just buy box dye hair at the store to just touch my roots up. I wouldn't highly recommend that, but if you are just maintaining roots, dying your own hair is way less expensive and manageable.
Another self -servicing hair dye company we have used is called Esalon. It is the only at-home custom hair salon company. They customize hair color specifically for you.. It's less than $20 and they send you the dye, gloves, mixing brush, hair cap and mixing bowl. It's fun because you feel like a professional when you do it!
Another inexpensive place to get your hair done is a beauty school. I know many people who hesitate at the idea of getting their hair done from a student. But honestly, I have gotten my hair done from professionals at a salon, who did my hair worse than a student. I feel like students can be great too because they are constantly learning and know the latest education for hair techniques. They have a professional instructor who checks them off before every step to make sure it is a good choice. And the best part, it is so cheap! I for a full weave + toner for $45! You can seriously not beat that. I went to Manadalyn Academy in American Fork. The girls there are super sweet and always learning. They have a special deal for each day of the week and if you leave a review on google, you will get $8 off your service.
So moral of the story, you don't have to pay big bucks to get your hair done. I suggest trying a beauty hair school or Esalon or even buying your own hair dye at Sally's beauty store!

Thanks for reading ladies! Hope you are having a great day!
