We decided to take a little trip up to Sundance, which is only like 15 minutes from where I (Ashlyn) live and about 45 minutes from Sarah. So I guess you could say a "short" trip lol. We love any chance we can get to go up there because it is soooo beautiful. It's a dead zone during the spring-summer season, but as soon as fall hits, people start lining up and as soon as the first snow fall, it is PACKED. That's the main reason why we wanted to go up there and explore before the big hurds of people start showing up!
During Halloween they have a night lift that you can pay (like $15) to take up the mountain, sipping hot chocolate and snuggling with your significant other. It's super fun and romantic. We didn't do it, but I did it a couple years a go, and it was really pretty! You just have to make sure to bundle up!
Ponchos are a great item for fall because it wears as a sweater AND blanket. Double win!! We love big sweaters and big ponchos! Nothing better than having an excuse to basically wear a blanket as clothes lol.
Oh and one last thing! We both scored on a pair of hunter boots. (I am wearing my green pair in these pics) from Costco last year, out of all places! We didn't even know they sold hunters until one day when we walked into Costco, just browsing through the clothes section, and stumbled across a bunch of hunter boots. (Side note: I got some amazing Matty M leggings a couple weeks ago from Costco, and I seriously like them better then my other ones from Nordstrom. AND they were only $10.) Okay, back to the boots. So we stumbled across 4 pairs of hunters just sitting in the shoe section. We seriously thought it was a joke at first, because the price was $35! We obviously took all of them haha. But it ended up being so cheap because they were an online return. So Costco discounts those like 50% off. Moral of the story: be on the lookout for online returns all the time. And ALWAYS be looking our for deals. We never pay full price for retail because there are always coupons, codes, sales, etc that you can find.
